Ok, i hear that you are supposed to tap into the bov line for boost gauge source. I just re-routed my mbc into the cabin. Can i use that source for gauge? (Pre mbc of course). Woukd be much simpler since i alreafy have a hose near where i want my gauge.

Bov is bad idea, leave this line dedicated to the bov. As Brian stated, use the FPR line and T off that, or if you are in a bind you can use the "P" line on your throttle body.

Its not a good idea to run vacuum line all the way to inside the cabin for mbc.
Thats why Hallman makes this:

STM: HALLMAN PRO COCKPIT CONTROLLER ADD-ON KIT

What, that's why my aem tru boost has a vacume line in the car. Almost ever gauge uses a vacume line. Your thinking of long boost controller lines that go to the jpipe and wastegate

Op I would t in your fpr as said above.

Maybe I wasnt too clear in what I was trying to say.

For Boost Gauge, I would definitely tap into fpr vacuum. (Its not a long line and provides accurate vac and boost readings)

For MBC, the best boost source is right off compressor housing or J-Pipe, and its not a good idea to run a vacuum line from j-pipe all the way to cabin.

Boost gauge needs to be right off the intake plenum. If you have a stock intake manni its possible to have it set up to have a dedicated BOV line from plenum and also a dedicated boost gauge line (very very small nipple) from plenum. If you don't feel like deleting emmisions and re-doin some vacume lines than a tee off from the fuel regulator is indeed your next best bet.

Maybe some one should start a thread about manual boost controllers mounted in car equals big no no. The boost referance lines going into the MBC need to be short and sweet and straight to the point. Having a 8foot long boost referance line to be your "signal" for the MBC is a super crappy method of doin it as the reponse and accuracy is drastically reduced by the long distance traveled.

My MBC doesn't have a hose any longer than ten inches on it. Not ten feet...
