boost gauge source question.

Ok, i hear that you are supposed to tap into the bov line for boost gauge source. I just re-routed my mbc into the cabin. Can i use that source for gauge? (Pre mbc of course). Woukd be much simpler since i alreafy have a hose near where i want my gauge.

A good place to tape for a boost gauge is on the intake manifold. FPR line is good, or brake booster (before check valve).

why not just use a port off the TB?

The reason im askin aboit this line is because its already in the cab real close to where my gauge will be. Saves me from having to run another line through the firewall

why can't you take the line that is ran and reconnect it to the FPR line? then you don't have to re run it
