Boost Gauge Question

Hey i have a question about my boost gauge. It's and autometer sport-comp ultra lite. And when i boost it pretty much just looks like a tachometer because it will go up to like 30psi and stay there and i know i am not boosting that much on a t-25. So i guess im asking is that could it be a faulty gauge or what? I have it tapped into the line that goes into intake manifold. The fps i believe so idk whats goin on here????

You have it tapped into a wrong line, recheck.

I wasn't sure it was like that when i bought the car, and the gauge didnt work becuase there was a hole burned through the nylon tubing so i replaced it with the copper tubing. So maybe it could be that he tapped into the wrong spot. Does anyone have any clear pics of what line it is. I've looked it up and i cant find a clear picture of which one to tap in to.

That is the right line.

Sounds like a faulty gauge seeing as I doubt you could even make 30psi with a T-25.

Does it sit at 0 with the car off?

Yea it sits at zero when the car is off and like 12-14 vac at idle
