Boost gauge help ????

This is a dumb question but i still need it answered , so i have an aftermarket boost gauge i got that wired up and t'd to the FPR, but when i start the car and rev it the aftermarket boost gauge needle does not move, the only one that does move is the factory one. Would any one know the reason to why that is?
