So before I was running stock UICP w/ a turboXS Bov and no boost controller.. my boost was spiking to about 16 PSI and holding well, that was fine for me.. I have now upgraded to full greddy pipes w/ a type-S and the small greddy front mount.(Got a good deal).. my car doesnt feel quite as responsive as it did before and even tho it spikes it drops off and the car doesnt quite feel as fast as it did before.. am I going to need a boost controller or did opening up the piping just cause this, and its too much for the t-25 to handle?

That front mount is probably too big for the t25. That's alot more area that it has to fill up and the t25 is just too crappy. I would suggest a bigger turbo that can pressurize a bigger intercooler.

I would STONGLY suggest an injector and fuel pump upgrade if you're going to a bigger turbo. With a 255 Walbro and 14B I am pushing my 560's to 95%. Get a set of 660's and a 190, if your going to buy a AFPR then go to a 255. Trust me, you'll need it.

What he said..Having a front mount for a t25 is just way too much, My friend put a front mount on his t25 b4 also and that thing was way laggy. You never really ever need a front mount on a t25 unless your just into the look..

wow....what kind of boost are you running with your 14b? something sounds not right to me

LOL dude sounds to me like your skipping steps and going quickly. I agree with what everyone said about the FMIC being too much on a T25. If you wanted an updgrade you should have gotten a larger side mount or the supra side mount to save up money for a larger turbo. Also about the upgrade do fuel first or you will be regretting it later. I am on my stock turbo and pushing about 15psi the boost controller for me is to regulate the boost since I have no further modifications to my manifold.

On race gas about 22psi. The car runs 12.7-12.8 in that tune. According to DSMTimes.org I have the fastest 14B Galant on record. No boost leaks when I checked, I am just pushing the limits of the 560's and the 14B before I move up to a bigger turbo.
