as right now i have the boost controller going straight to the turbo and the wastegate. its is the way the diagram says. but the stock set up comes from the passenger side of the car (plugs into something) and has a T in there and splits to the turbo and wastegate. so should i hook the lines back up to this or is the boost controller just fine with out going to that other spot.

im not sure how you can have a T in there and go 2 places and then hook a manual boost controller up and totally eliminate the T and that other connection.

What type of boost controller? With my Greddy EBC I just bypassed and removed that part. I am pretty sure that it has something to do with regulating stock boost, but I am not 100%.

P.S. I have one line to the wastegate and one to the turbo housing, with my Blow off valve spliced into the line going to the turbo housing.

You are correct, the something thats on the passenger side of the car is the boost control solinoid (bcs). When you hook up an aftermarket boost controller you want to eliminate this. Like you have go from pressure source to boost controller & then to wastegate. Leave the bcs electrically plugged in but take of the hoses and plug the pressure ports. You also want to plug the hole where the bcs was origionally attached to your intake tube.

What happens if you take the part out? (the BCS)

Your car might throw a CEL.

Here's a diagram of how to properly set up an MBC (BCS removed).

thank you, i have the controller installed properly and now i just have to remove that old hose line. or i could leave it sitting there and zip tie it off incase i go back to the stock boost set up.

As long as it isn't doing anything, you can leave it there.

would you recomend putting a cap on the bcs then and taking the hose off?

You don't need to cap it, just leave the electrical connection and remove the hoses; completely reversible if you ever want to revert to stock.

One of the hoses that goes to the BCS is the one that goes to the wastegate. Another is one from the turbo compressor housing nipple. These are the two you would use for an MBC. So the answer is, yes, you can. The other hose from the BCS ties back into the intake tract. That one is not used once an MBC is installed, so the intake port that the hose plugs into must be capped off somehow.
