So i have the Greddy tvvc manual boost controller. The guy i bought it from didn't have it hooked up and i think i found out why. I hooked up the lines right and took it for a drive only to find out that no matter which i way i turn the controller all the way to one direction it doesn't control boost, the boost just completely maxes out off my gauge (20+ psi) can someone tell me whats going on? is the boost controller just broken?

Also i have a small 16g and dont know where the pressure fitting on the turbo is to hook up the MBC, does it have one? where exactly should i tap the lines and hook them up?

If you do a search or just look in the tech article section for turbochargers you will find not 1, but 2 writeups on proper hookup of an MBC, including the best way to tap into boost pressure. If everything is hooked up right and you are still having a problem, I would suspect an internal problem with either the MBC, or a wastegate issue, possibly the latter, because even without an MBC I would think your stock wastegate on a 16g is set for less than 20 psi, I have a 20g and its stock wastegate is set for 13 psi.
Another possibility is that your wastegate is simply set at over 20 psi, an MBC can't lower your boost to a lower pressure than your wastegate setting.
