I am having the hardest time diagnosing my issue. I've been told it can be my fuel, or boost. I can't find a leek anywhere and my fuel seems to be alright. My car seems to idle fine but as soon as I give throttle and boost builds it feels like my wastegate is stuck wide open. I almost got killed the other day when I tried to pull ahead of some traffic and my car was dogging to accelerate. It also feels like when I am at idle and I rev the engine my car has a hard time increasing rpms. Like it has restriction. Ive replaced fuel filter, plugs, wires, put in my spare turbo and housings. When I swappedto my spare turbo I fixed my exhaust pipe and re-gasket all of my exhaust components. I am stArting to run out of ideas, options and money. Please helps guys. Oh and it's a 1g tsi awd

DO a boost leak test..And also see if the new turbo's WG is shot as well..You can put a hose on the nipple and manually put a vacuum on it and see if it opens..

Do you have a logger? Wideband? Or any other means of reading what's going on with timing, knock, or other ECU parameters? If it's constantly doing it there's something seriouse for sure and it needs checked out. I wonder if you've maybe had the timing belt jump a tooth or two as well, there's so many causes it could be, that this is one of the reasons most people recomend a logger of some sort right off the bat if you plan on doing any performance improvements, turning up the boost or just driving hard all the time. But modding without a way of reading whats' going on is like crossing the highway blind... You might be ok, but there's a damn strong chance somethign really bad's coming and you're not gonna know it

As for testing boost leaks, I would assume you're new to the forum and haven't read the 1g/2g upgrade paths and links associated with them. Go to the newbie section or the home page (not forum directory) and read all the newbie stuff or simply use the seach button at the top. This stuff has been covered so many times that it's one of those questions most people won't even bother to answer anymore because it's covered in detail all over this site.

Read Up!! Learn about your car, how it behaves and become empowered, you're car will thank you with reliability and youll thank yourself for knowing what's going on with your car by just thinking back to what you've learned adn you'll know where to start looking

turns out I had a boost leek in my throttle body! haha I re-seeled her and its running great. no I dont have a datalogger.. I want to get a data logger
