I got a 1998 gst 4g63 with cams and cam gears running a tdo5h with hks bov, has side mount intercooler. turbo timer with safc2.. I traded a widebody 94 civic for this car about a week ago... The day after my girl got the car I took the car to work and it drove fine the whole way.. On my break I opened hood to inspect car.. seen that the tps was disconnected.. I connected the tps and we messed with the safc to try to get car not to run so rich... That evening on way home the car started bogging out and i watched the greddy ext gauge start to drop when bogging... I pushed clutch in let idle for a bit then it starts running fine again... It does this every so often but not always... the greddy ext gauge usually reads between 5-700 depending on throttle ... I did a boost leak down test and found a few leaks I have since fixed them all.. it holds 30psi all day without a leak... I have noticed that the turbo really does not spool until around 4500-5g on tack,, And by spool i mean hit hard...
