Blue lighting Interior Ideas anyone???

Okay .. Got 98 GSX 6 months ago Love the DSM game since i was 10 but lets get to the point. I installed blue LEDS in Gauges.. Have blue LED pillar Gauges.. Blue LED touch screen for radio.. Blue Amp neon right under parking light so u can see thru window.... I put in blue step lights(when u open the door).... Any other ideas like how to get blue lights where ## feet are WITH A SWITCH.. How did u guys wire this up and what was ## set up.. Please gimme some ideas.. N if u need pics jus ask thanks

Mount them under the dash. Then put the buttons like I have these 3 (not for LEDs)

You can get any neon lighting tube 10 inches should do at your feet. jump off of any 12v source in your car cigarette lighter or cd player is the easiest. cut the wire in half get some crimps solder the 12v wire to the wire going to your switch then crimp the 2 12v wires back together. find out where your switch is going to go and run the wire you just soldered to it. A toggle switch has 2 leads on it connect the 12v power wire to one lead and the wires to your neon tube to the other lead. and last ground the neons....

Anytime I see someone drill into their center console makes me cringe. I would drill into the center console compartment box and mount them there. Then they are hidden too. And the box is easily replaceable if you decide you don't like them later or sell the car.

Also, please don't tap into the cars existing wiring for this. That compromises the integrity of that wire and anything it may be powering. Not to mention it can become a fire hazard. Just run a power source from battery into the cabin and run your blue lighting off that and ground each individually to a convenient location. With a friends car we actually ran a power sourse to a second fuse box and used that to poser multiple lights like that. It worked like a charm with no issues.

I bought the console like that.. It doesn't even match my interior I just needed an armrest !

just replace all the interior lights (done, feel, trunk) with l.e.ds i did and it looks great lot nicer than any neon youll get under there with out the wire mess.

but if you want to add more neons you can always solder them to one main power feed wire run that wire with an inline fuse and use an automotive relay and put your own switch to that relay so you can run them with good power not mess with cars electrical and turn on when you want to.

alternative is wire them into interior lighting if you want by not my first pic IMO.

Pop in the fast and the furious movie and you will get all your answers. Hell do some underglow too . Nah not trying to be an ass, but most of all the interior stuff is played out. Save the money and use it for more performance mods or system or something.

Im gonna buy the tubes i think and wire them to ciggerette lighter.. But where can i get legit switches?? Pep boys, Autozone?
