blown turbo - upgrade now?

hey everyone - this is my first post. i believe my turbo has bit the dust so i was thinking this may be a good time for a little upgrade. i don't want to do anything crazy, just want to find a better turbo that will bolt right up like the stock one. any suggestions?

a T28 will bolt right up and is a much better turbo than the T25

With the right supporting mods the bigT-28 could run alongside the big16g, which isn't bad at all. At a stock level you'll notice more top end, but nothing huge until you start modding more. That's pretty much the only turbo that will bolt right on for ya, except some of the T3/T4 hybrids.

Very nice price on that FP BigT28, but would he be safe to run a T28 on the stock fuel system?

You should take a ride out there one day and pick put a turbo.

Get atleast a Big 16G. Ported no clip.

yeah that fpbig28 is lookin pretty good for now - in the future i can go bigger once i upgrade the fuel pump, injectors, headers and exhaust - but for now i just want the thing to run

in my experience i ugraded the turbo first and i shouldnt have
imo u should upgrade ur fuel system first along with a logger and SAFCII and then get the turbo or all at once i know frmo my project its a better way to go

look if the dude's turbo is about to die I would just get the turbo so he doesnt have to worry about reliability issues. If he just keeps the boost around stock he does not need to have an upgraded fuel system. When he does get enough money to get the fuel system up to date then he can add more boost and see some power gains. Might as well get a better turbo now cause he needs one anyways.
