:notgood:So the hood has to be chopped up to fit the new GM style blower. Yea bummer for all you guys? Not really i solved that problem too:thumb:

Hood Scoop will solve it. And i found a junkyard with a ton of 1g to get hoods for all of ya. Anyway the new setup works insane, direct off the crank, no more a/c though. If your a/c still worked your lucky. R-12 is illegal and you can make mustard gas out of it:D

And i picked up a couple more blowers today i got them torn apart right now and im rebuilding them pretty much. Im really hoping to have the running setup by thanksgiving morning to put up photos. All thats left to do is finish the mounting brackes on the supercharger that bolts it to the intake and engine and modify the pulleys. Also im waiting for a hood scoop to try out and then ill start choping up my hood. Also the gm blowers run about 8 pounds around, and they have wastegates that dump straight to the atmosphere. Also if anyone is interested im gonna make a different piping setup to run a bov. That way no one will know if your a turbo or a supercharged car. Anyway if anyone has a ford mustang or t-bird i have a pile of eaton m90 superchargers you can use for them, since there no good for me now. Anyway with this new setup according to the boost calcuator if your 1.8 has 90hp still which prob not it will give you a 48.3hp increase. Thats more than half another 1.8. But i say a 25hp increase is what you'll get because these cars are so old....yea and old.

Also the gsx needs a new tranny or a rebuild its leaking like crazy from the pump seals. Yea that car is gonna sit the winter out:dsm:

currently nothing, i havent taken any hard hard runs with it, im gonna take a run without the hood on in a couple days, and see when it hits fuel cut

yea im learning as im going, i put same size pulleys that were the same size just for the vbelt, i just finished making the flange and gasket on the supercharger, i havent rerouted the the wastegate i just made an opening with a pipe coming out and im figuring out were to stick it

im using variations of the eaton m90, i did a good run with the one of the ford t-coupe as it was very simple to setup and i didnt have to fab up that much piping as i am now, the only thing was it would just keep boosting and boosting so its unsafe for a daily drive but really great for a drag car

also the stock pulleys on these give out 8psi on the gm's and that belt is hooked up to a bunch of stuff. on mine its just right off the crank, no more a/c its just crank adjuster and supercharger

yea nvm i have to block the bypass completley
