Okay so i got the gsx back on the road, stupid wires going to the ignition control module were loose in the clip so it would always stall out or not fire a couple cylinders. Figures! Anyway the 1.8 is doing good, im trying to locate a used fmic for a 1g turbo so i can throw on my 1.8 and im waiting for pulleys i ordered from mitsubishi! No there not specifically for superchargers but i picked a couple up off some mitsubishis at the junkyard and figured out which ones i will need especially since the belts on dsms aint 2 inches wide! I hope to get pictures up sunday night or monday morning, all depending on when i can get a fmic to get some more runs in. Currently its mounted in front of the exhaust manifold and is running off the alternator pulley! I welded 2 together and got a bigger bolt so i could run a tiny belt to the supercharger which is working good. And dsmtalk decided to ban or suspend me, i dont know which. I had posted a thread in the 1.8 section just stating im working on a supercharger and everyone was like SUPERCHARGERS ARE INSUFFECIENT SELL THE CAR AND GET A TURBO. DUH I GOT A TURBO GSX. So there goes that:thumb: I did drive the 1.8 home a couple nights ago with the supercharger and a talon turbo was next to me, and the guy was being smart and punched it. And then i punched it and well.....i flew by him:tease: I was really impressed with the eaton m90. Its a bit massive under the hood but it does get the 1.8 pretty fast. I do have 176k miles on the engine and tranny, im very suprised with it. Its broken down twice...once for a starter and battery and the other time an alternator which my cousin knocked off my oil pressure wire so that required another tow. While the gsx in the past 3 months ive had it, has been towed 5 times, flooded itself numerous times which required oil changes:notgood: And i only use mobile 1 synthetic so its a huge waste for a oil change every 150miles!

So back to the 1.8, im currently looking for a fmic or if someone has a spare one with some piping and stuff and would love to ship it to me for free, i'd be really happy:D Also waiting on a new eaton m90 that is smaller then the old ones and flows a LOT LOT MORE! All thanks to a local hot rod shop:thumb: Its a catch though, the 1.8 has to put down 150hp on the dyno by the end of this month or i have to return the supercharger to them:toobad: Its already put down 131.7hp and i had it almost up to 140 another time when the belt broke on my custom intake manifold setup which is a good idea then again it requires a lot of moving stuff around to get a good belt setup! Anyways time to go see if the gsx lossed any antifreeze through the overflow tube. ####ing thing drinks more fluids and burns more gas then a v12 bmw:toobad:

EDIT!

I did start making a new exhaust manifold which will be more open and help! Im also porting the stock intake manifold to see if that helps

Man I love this supercharging stuff LOL. I was also reading through Ray Petters dual charge thread :p. Sounds like you guys are doing some pretty innovative stuff. I don't see why you got banned for posting a thread stating you were doing something different when it was everyone else that bashed you for not doing something tried and true and beaten to death LOL.

yea there not very nice over there, some kid is producing turbo manifolds for the 1.8 with just the manifold costing 450 plus shipping. I guess that will be the competition, im hoping to get the gsx running smoothier and pick up another dd so i can strip down the 1.8 and build it up and take it to the track next spring and smoke some turbos, and if i need to beat anything with more then 4 cylinders i can use the gsx

im rebuilding my 92 1.8l and was lookin into power upgrades and was told the only way to get pretty much any power gains i would need to go turbo and that bolt ons will make almost no diference what so ever so i was wondering if you could help verify or debunk this information and send me that thread you mentioned please:D

its on dsmtalk, you have to like pm this kid and they he will shoot you some crazy price, and on top of that someone reported that his manifold blew apart at 10 pounds of boost on a t25 he put on it. im current suspended or banned so it wont let me look through anything, my uncle said they had a turbo 1.8 that came into the shop years ago and they did a clutch and a few weeks later he blew a piston so idk, also its pretty expensive i did an estimate last winter and it would be about 5 grand to get a running setup at 7psi, though if you havent done a clutch yet go to www.machv.com they sell performance act clutches for the 1.8 which i need to pick up one ill shoot u a pm too

there'll be up once i get a new lense for my nikon, i had to use my freetime at work today to fix the gsx

You were most likely banned from dsmtalk because of the infamous
Rule #7.
