blow off valve question

if anyone has the time, could they help me out in selecting a good blow off valve, and could you say the pros and cons of one of you choice.

by the way i have a 99 eclipse gsx, apexi n1 catback exhaust and injen intake, k&n cone filter

If your cheap like me I would just go with a 1g bov. Pros cheap, works good. Cons no bling bling , not as loud as some of the other bovs.

If your on a cheap budget, go with the 1g bov as previously stated..they hold enough boost for what you can produce now, if you want something higher dollar and will hold more boost,look nice,and is adjustable- then Greddy type S

Buy a 1G bov
pros: inexpensive, works well, proven(nuff said)
cons: no bling.....to me, that's not even a con.

where do you guys get ur 1g bov's? junkyards? or can u still get em at the dealer? what kinda price u payin?

You can get them from the dealer, junk yards, etc.

Also many of the performance stores carry them. Take a look at the sites that advertise on here. Many of them will have them.

I know Buschur racing has them. Go on their site to get a price. Definitely price shop though.

I definatly would not go with a dealer when getting your 1G BOV find some one in the classifed section of some of the forums I got mine for $30+shipping total of $35. Buschur charges $140 with the flange :thumbdown I Paid $32 from dsmparts.com which I dont recommend because the hardware they sent with the flange did not fit I have found the flange for as cheap as $10 so just bargain shop man. If you want bling then go with the Type-S. I know of a guy venting his 1G BOV and it's loud as hell but he's an idiot so not just becuase of that but for so much more.

HKS.. i just got that for my 95 GSX... thats nice... pierces your ears for yah! j/k but seriously thats the sharp sound. greddy type s is loud but i like the hks.... expensive though
