Blow off valve question that makes no sense to me.

Alright everyone is talking about how venting is wrong, and a n00b thing to do. Ok, but why then was (and still is) the blitz super sound so popular? You cannot recirulate it if I'm not mistaken.

And I know two people (both first gens) who are running the turbo smart BOVs straight venting that have had no issues at all.

My question is, if the blow off valve is a well designed BOV like the blitz for example, and does what it is made to do. i.e. closed at idle. Then why would you be concerned with recirulation.

I have searched and have read a lot of the recent posts about BOVs. But I still don't understand, if it is a GOOD BOV, that is designed to vent, why then would it cause a problem? What exactly causes venting to be so bad? i.e. what does venting do that causes problems?
 
Most basic explanation:

The Mass Air Flow meter in the air filter is before the blow off. It senses a certain amount of air and adjust fuel appropriatly. When you let the air out that the computer thinks its getting, it dumps fuel in for the amount it thinks its getting even though its not and runs really rich.

Easiest solution: Place the Mass Air Flow senser after the blow off via a MAFT or similar product. Then the computer reads as much air as its actually getting when the blow off lets out all the air and componsates by reducing the fuel.
