So just about 10 minutes ago I got out of class and got into my car and heard this clicking sound like a turn signal or the hazards were on and I noticed that my right headlight was blinking. I tried playing with the turn signals and the hazards and the lights but it wouldn't stop. So I just said screw it and started driving home and after about a minute of driving it stopped. Well when I got home 10 minutes later and shut the car off it started again and I have no clue what it is. It was at home that I noticed that it was only my front right headlight blinking so I turned the car on again and turned the headlights on to realize only the right one comes on. So I'm wondering if it is doing this because I have a burned out light bulb or maybe a relay or something fried out?? If anyone has ever experienced this please let me know what it is it keeps pissing me off.

Try the fuses and relays for the lights, they are setup individually on 2g's. Where are you hearing the clicking from???

Also check for a loose ground wire from teh front light harness, a frayed or cracked one could also cause this.

The clicking is coming from right underneath the steering column. Right by where the fuse box is. After thinking about it what i think it is is my security alarm going off. I think this because the light only starts to blink after i open the door. And the blinking pattern seems like it would go perfectly with an alarm sound. Now if it were indeed the security system my horn should be going off then but my horn is currently not working so therefore I cannot hear it at all. I will check the fuses an wiring soon but for now I hope it fixes it self and that my left headlight comes back on. :-(

Well I've determined it is my alarms system because every time I open the door it starts going off. I pulled the fuse underneath the steering column by the fuse box there and the clicking stopped inside the car but the lights were still flashing. I popped the hood and heard the same clicking and determined it was coming from the fuse/relay that was labeled headlights so I pulled that and obviously it stopped but if I do that then I do not have headlights. My question is does anyone know of any other security fuse in the car besides of the one right under the steering column that I can pull so my car stops doing this??

have you tried putting in different relays? You might just ahve a bad one that clicks off everytime it's supposed to come on. try swapping them for some other relays just to test. PUll one from say teh power windows or something for a temp one to use

Yup, ive tried 3 other relays and the same thing happens. I do not understand why even after i took out the security fuse it still happens. Well if anyone thinks of anything please let me know because I dont want this to kill my other headlight.

Man, im stumped on this one now. I'd have to be at teh car to figure this one out. Tracing wires with a voltmeter, cursings, yellling and drinking a few beers. cause that's how i do electrical troubleshooting LOL
