Bleeding power steering

Well when my car sits for 5 hours or more, the steering will whine (like it's out of fluid) for the first 10 minutes of driving, then it goes away.

I'd just pop off the hose that goes from the resevoir to the cooling line and stick it in a bucket, then start twisting the wheel. Or I'll mail you my cooling lines, guaranteed to bleed out your whole system in about 30 seconds :D

Your pump might be on it's way out. My pump was acting the same way, bought another one from boneyard and the problem is gone. I was told by Mitsugraveyard that the valve inside is broken which allows air to get back in the system. Not sure what he meant though cause I never toke apart the bad one.
