1G Black Box On Coil Pack

I broke off the little black box coming from the coil pack and now it's just the wire. It's a capacitor I assume but would it cause a no start?

It's a '90 only item. All other 4G63 DSMs sourced the tach signal from the power transistor unit.

OP, if that is the item you are concerned about, it will not prevent the car from starting. Otherwise, post a picture of what you are looking at.
