Biss 2g!

I've posted once about this and searched TONS~. I need to adjust my idle and ground some stuff before i do it. The pics and VFAQ are for the 1G. I have a 2G and cant find the ports in the picture. HELP~! I (trying my own thing) just disconnected the battery and turned the BISS. It adjusted the idle, but about 3 days later a P0505 CEL came up. WTF??? I think i messed it up yeah? Any help would be great. I have owned my DSM for about 3 days. Gonna put in my boost gauge and change the plugs this weekend. My belts are new but there is some chirp chirp coming from either the crank pully or water pump..cant tell yet.

The fuse box under the dash does not have the port with cover that is explained in the FVAQ. Am i way off base here or can i adjust the idle without grouding what i need to?

P505 = Idle Control System is your ISC motor plugged in ?,..its may be bad in the first place. did you put a dap of silicon over the BISS screw to keep it from backing out from vibration ? ( it will )

Its in there. Cant find the ICS motor. Or what i'm supposed to ground. HELP~!

the proper way to adjust the idle on a 2G is to use a scan tool to hold the ISC stepper in the middle and adjust the biss. if you don't do that, the ECU will just compensate for any changes you make by turing the biss via the ISC

so if you dont have that scan tool then you are stuck? gotta go to the dealership?

Here's where my BISS screw has been set since I got it.

All the way in.....3/4 of a turn backed out, idles at 750, 15 Hg vacuum.

Thought I would throw that out there.

I played with the biss one time and mess it up, worst idle of all :thumbdown . Talk to a dsm master tech here in my city and he said, turn the scew in tight... then do a 360 and a quater turn back out, and if your lucky it will be back to where it was. I did it and it worked
