2G Throttle body biss screw

Does anyone know where to find a metal throttle body biss screw for a 2G? I've searched every Hyundai/4G motor In The junkyard no luck.

I don't ever recall I've seen them made of metal only plastic...stmmotorsports has the plastic biss screws for sale.

1Gs had metal biss screws, they only make the plastic ones now

He asked for a metal one. That one is clearly plastic.

As far as I know the metal ones aren't available. Place a wtb ad or hit the junkyard. Any particular reason you want a metal one?

They haven't been available for many many years. I mainly saw them in 1990-1994 throttle bodies for DSM, or for the 3000GT platform. The plastic ones work just fine with a new o-ring and dust cap.

Thank you everyone for all the information. And the reason I want a metal one is because the plastic ones strip out to easily. Which I've experienced firsthand too many times. I've heard of them being in some of the hyundais and that those would work. I'll just have to find someone selling one I guess.

I hope you can find what you're looking for, but if it's any solace, my 1999 has had a plastic biss screw that's never been touched and never backed out on its own. Recently I spent 5 bucks replacing the oring on it and put it back in, car runs like a brand new 1g and hopefully good for 16 more years!

Yeah I'm not sure I follow either. I've adjusted so many over the years including my own personal. None of the plastic stripped. Is your throttle body messed up?

I usually see them disintegrate in customer throttle bodies, when I install new ones I use a high-temp synthetic grease on the threads, o-ring and BISS cap, along with the shaft seals, TPS sealing washer, and ISC o-ring.
