also what would i need a dolly for?

A dolly is a piece of metal used to shape the steel. It's used as a guide when using a body hammer. You push on the low spots while hammering lightly on the high spots to try and work the metal back in place. If you sandwich the body between the dolly and hammer you'll end up stretching the metal on your body panel.

Thanks guys i will keep you posted on the dent and also the rust that i have found under there. I did go to a few stores looking at some body work stuff, i could use to get rid of rust and help it from not coming back so fast.

The only way to get rid of that cancer is to cut it out and replace it plain and simple.

Eh rust is bad but not that bad, I've had much worse. On my old Eclipse I had to cut out most of the rocker panels on both sides to the point where I could barely mount my side skirts cause I had to cut out the mounting holes.

As long as you don't see sub frames or anything structural starting to sag or fall, you should be fine for a little while. I'd just cut out stuff where you're starting to see holes and either leave it like that and paint it or weld plates in.

The dent puller seems like a good idea. Idk if this could work but I would try just cutting out that exact piece from a junker and weld it in. Just be precise with your measuring, just a suggestion.
