So here is the deal. I have 3 questions in total.
I recently blew my transmission or think I did. I installed a Big 16g on my 2g car. I have a 255 in the tank. FMIC and 3" exhaust all the way back. I downshifted into third and that was it. The car will not drive. Shifter is stuck in 3rd but the wheels still spin. I have clutch pressure. I have aleviated the problem with a new motor and trans currently installing, but would still like to know what happened.
And my other question:

I have read the forums and know I need a SAFC and larger injectors. I am in the process of buying these items for the new engine. I have never tuned a vehicle and was wondering how hard it is to use the SAFC II..
My end result will be: SAFC II, Evo 560cc injectors, 255 in tank, big 16g, FMIC, Fidanza 8lbs Alum flywheel, new 6puck clutch, adjustable FPR. Is this all I need?
Thank you!:thumb:

I thought the fork. But I don't really plan on doing anything with the old trans. The shifter is completely stuck in third. Will not move. Wheel turn and clutch has pressure..

You will also need some sort of logging device or a wb o2 sensor to take advantage of the afc. Without, you will be tuning blind. Afc is easy to tune with as long as you can monitor changes.

I would get an act 2600 instead of the 6 puck clutch. With that setup, the 6 puck will be overkill and you will probably wear out a clutch before you get to the point of needing a 6 puck. I just recently swapped out my 9yr old 2600 for a competition clutch stage 5 with a sprung 4 puck disc. I would also add to the list some sort of replacement bov. The stock 2g is just a hair north of being total junk.

It comes with instructions to hook it up. As for operating instructions, They are detailed for universal applications. But the unit is also self explanatory once hooked up.
