BG Synchroshift and Redline Shockproof OK??

I'm going to change the tranny and transfer case/diff fluid and was wondering if BG Synchroshift 1 is alright for the tranny, and if Redline Shockproof Light would be alright for the transfer case/diff? It says use the Shockproof for competition diffs and manual transmissions only, so I wasn't sure.

Also, how much fluid is needed for the tranny, and how much for the t-case/diff?

Use 2.4-3 liters of Mitsubishi gear oil for the 2005 Evo MR (part# MZ313376) OR a 50/50 blend of Redline heavyweight shockproof/Valvoline 80W-90 for the trans.

Redline heavyweight shockproof for the transfer case/rear diff.

Mitsubishi also makes a T-case fluid.

Is heavyweight Shockproof alright during the winter? Or should I use the lightweight?

Also, I forgot to mention my car has 147,000 miles

It should be fine. The trans, t-case, and rear diff take quite a bit of abuse, especially on non-spinning launches.

Alright....is there any store I can buy the BG Synchroshift or Redline Shockproof at? I called Autozone and Schucks and they said they didn't have either. Don't think they looked for it, but maybe they did.

I'm not too sure about your area, but if your patient you can find and order it online. There's a Pep Boy's, advanced auto parts, salvos(in my area).

if you want good performance and dont want to spend too much, go with royal purple 75w-90 oil (3 bottles) and royal purple synchromax (1 bottle). i use it, ALOT of other people i know use it, and it works great. but its for lower-end/stock trannys and transfer cases. i have racing gears and synchros in mine, but nothing top-of-the-line. it works great, and its pretty cheap. Oreillys (if around your area) and Advance i know carry it. put half a bottle of 75-90 in the TC and the rest in the tranny, youll be good to go.
