Ok i got a 95 RS stock besides a CAI and cat back exhaust. Just compleatly rebulit it and its been running great for about a week. I got to my friends house and shut it off normaly. I go to turn it on and it wont start. The srs light and seat bealt light flash regulary but the engine and oil lights dont come on like they should during pre ingition ( key in run postion.) It turns over fine, head lights and such work great. Already tried the 2 realys up by the firewall. Removed the line fuse on the starter line. Checked all fuses and such. I have no idea what it might be and ive stumped a few of my firend with this one too so if you have any ideas please, Im all ears!!! Thanks!!

Did you short anything during the build? the ignition circuit is gone trace back from your coil pack until you can find power in that circuit. i had the same sort of problem years ago the engine immobiliser died! Sorry i'm guessing as well, can you get your hands on another ECU to try?

check your idle (adjust with set screw on throttle body) check all vaccum lines, and have your buddy crank your carr while u hold your throttle open (hold hair and loose clothing back at this part) and listen to the sounds if you hear knocking then the engine need to be re-rebuilt. i had this same problem and i needed to get to the valves and fix a spring also the place that rebuilt it had part of a grind wheel fly into the engine when they were working causing a blown turbo cause it held the exhaust/intake valve open and spun crankshaft. its being fixed atm but thats what my problem was. lets hope urs isnt as bad as mine.

Thanks for the info guys, at least that gives me something to go on. Ive been going on nothing for about 3 days now. Ill see what the lines look like.

if you hear any knocking dont drive it at all! get it towed and if you had a place rebuild it for u it should be warrented and they should eat all costs. just tell them it stopped working and that u didnt even look at it (yet we know u did)

check all your plugs ? plugs going into the ECU -- CAS

id go with the above first...check all the plugs then check for knocking liek everyone else says

i unplugged every plug and cleaned them and plugged them back in. I rebuilt it myself, so thats out of the question. I want to sell it and get a gsx anyway but i want it running to sell it for more! . I just think i need to get a new pcm and try that. What year(s) and model(s) will work with my car? Will a GS pcm work from a 97 or no? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

yeah or dodge neon ecus will work also....its a 420a....look up the cars with a 420a in it...they should all work
