"clubplug" has them for what i consider dirt cheap, i think i paid 20$ for a set of 4. They are happily running with my magnecor KV85's.
 
The performance gain is minimal, IMO, so even at that price I don't know if I'd buy them again. They're supposed to last longer than the regular plugs, though, so in the long run the cost may average out to be about the same.
 
you virtually /never/ have to change them. they also have a more efficent burn from all the reports i've read.

minimal is still more than no gain.
 
These are the things I have read and heard, so if I'm wrong on this let me know.

PROS

more focused spark, more intense due to shape of center electrode

less likely to foul due to design of center electrode

Iridium is a better transferer of electricity which helps the spark jump the gap

least amount of wear based on mileage, last longer

I think this is because many people mistakenly lump them in with the platinums, which most people say are NOT good for DSMs. I have had no problems with mine either.
 
Yeah, yet i've had no problems with platinums on my other DSM's either. The irridium seem to be the best i've tried though.

Yeah but for 10 bucks a plug it's not a good deal in my book.
 
Still, I rather pay $150 a plug for NGK's. It would be cool if anyone bothers to dyno-test them. Maybe a 5 hp increase?
 
I'll sell you any type of NGK plug you want for 150$ if thats how you want. Hell, i'll give you a deal and make it 125$.
 
I keep trying to use the 6 series plugs in my 99 eclipse rs-t but i have to get new plug every week because they always foul out. I don't know what to do now? I keep trying to lean my fuel regulator but it gets to lean. My plug boot were letting spark arch the head so i have them covered until i get my magnacor wires in. Do you guys think it is the shitty stock electronic ignition? I am running out of ideas.

Need a little more info.

Is it one plug fouling or all of them?
Is it oil fouled or fuel fouled?
After you replace the plug or plugs does it sputter while driving or accelerating, or does it run fine until the plug or plugs foul out?

The wires could well be your problem. They do need to be replaced now and then, and if the boots arent in good shape, can cause arching, also make sure everything in your plug wells is nice and dry - wet=bad.

I'd bet those wires fix your problem.
 
What would be the best plugs for me. 2g ported exhaust manifold, ported 14b, 255 fuel pump, full 3" turbo back exhaust, intake, and manual boost controller. I am running 14-16 ibs at track and daily driving. I need a new set of plugs. I wanna go with ngk, but i need to know what kind of plugs i need to get. Thanks guys.

I put the the NGK BPR7ES in and they work great!!!!!! Thanks Guys


would these plugs be good for my aplication too ??? i am not pushing more then 14 psi with my T28 till i install my 550's and afc along with the Greedy boost controller.

Yes They will be perfect you will easily feel the difference!!!!!
