best RPM

Hi,

I know the specs for the 4g63 engine for a dsm 1g turbo. but, i don't know when they got their max hp and max lb-ft.

like: 195HP @ ...rpm and 203 lb-ft @ ... rpm

I would like to know what is the best rpm for shifting at their max HP and max lb-ft.

I know max torque is made 1000 rpm before redline, so 6000 rpm. As far as horsepowere goes I believe it's somewhere around that point too but I am not totally sure.

Cars get there max hp and torque at different levels. It truly depends on the mods and the tuning of the car. Most people report on our cars getting their best torque and hp around 5700-6300 tho if you look at multiple dyno's people have posted.

why don't you try a couple different shift points while you are at the track and decide based on your times, which is the best?

that sounds like a logical solution doesn't it?

in end fo april, I gone a try it, because the winter is not done yet over here. I'm from montreal canada.

and, I put my laser out since 2 weeks, .Now my car is on grinding.

I look foward to go at the track...
