Thats trying to get teh 2g running and wire tuck at the same time.

No shots of what was done to the 1g. It was no where near extreme as some of these though.

These are a few of the shots I had time to take during my "body swap". I picked up the white shell with a 6 point cage, 2 Sparco Speed seats, spare 4-bolt, and a AGX/GC combo for $500. Absolutely NO rust on it either. I swapped every wire from the black car to the white car since wiring issues were what caused the original owner to give up on the white car. I dragged it to the shop Saturday night and drove it home the next Friday. It was a LONG week.

This one was taking my bumper and headlights out...I modded the bumper and put it back on..That's really the extent to my having the car apart for right now..Eventually she will be gutted but, I can wait for now..

Engine build! This was right after I got it out. My boss thought he was pretty funny in the second pic. Makes me laugh every time I see it too!

The last one is non DSM. Its my Audi getting ready to loose the cylinder head. Its how you have to do it though.

Oh about 24 hours. Have to account for de greasing if needed, pressure wash, sanding and masking. Or in some cases completely stripping the bay of anything to require masking.

'95 GSX. Completely gutted. It was taking up too much garage space, so we rolled it on it's side.
Problem solved. :D

We definitely made much more room for activities. :)

Might as well just scrap it and buy a 12 pack. :D

How long does it take to clear out the engine bay for paint? just curious

Depends on how far you take it down, what you plan on reusing, and how much time/money you have. Anywhere from a couple days to 6 months. :D
