Some people learn the hard way, maybe this isn't hard enough on you.

You're asking a vague question, you'll get vague answers, if any.

You need to include more pertinent details like core size, tabs, mounting hardware, mounting points, and any problems that you have.

:dsm:thank u No_Skillz Overall Size: 28" x 7.5" x 2.5"
Core Size: 20.5" x 6.25" x 2.25"
So where do u think the best mounting point is for this FMIC and the best place for new tabs? NO_SKILLZ:dsm:

Does the intercooler have any tabs on it now? Where are the inlet/outlet situated? Where did you mount your previous FMIC?

It's hard to determine the best place via an online forum since there are an infinite number of FMIC configurations in regards to size, end tanks, mounting tab locations, etc. There's no one correct way to do it, even with identical FMICs. Your best bet is to take off your front bumper cover and crash beam and mock it up.

I was able to bolt my FMIC to the crash bumper. Mine is about the same size as yours. I know you have a 1g, but this is where I put it on my 2g. Mine's a same-side, but you get the drift...

The bottom of the crash bumper is cut out to fit the FMIC and I have L-brackets that connect to the 2 bolt bungs on the top of the intercooler.

Holy couplers batman!

I could have made due with 2 less if I have an intercooler pipe made with a flange welded on. Instead, I just have one of those short sections with a flange on it that you get on ebay. It works fine. With the t-bolt clamps, I have no leaks.

Not to sound like an ass... but that bottom mounting picture is horrible. I honestly think the view of your tubing on the side of the intercooler looks tacky with the open section of your bumper cover.

Under the car in the back, just notch the gas tank a little.

heres a pic of my 1g, i welded 2 brackets on top and one for the bottom. you could do the same thing by just drilling holes and using bolts.

cmon guys give the guy a right answer which would be:

The intercooler has to go instead of the radiator. To bolt it up and make it work, you got to follow the steps:

1. remove the radiator
2.put a Front Mount instead the radiator
3. the hose, that goes from a thermostat housing connect to right side of the Front Mount
4 the bottom hose, which goes from water pipe (water pump)connect to the left Front Mount side.
Enjoy!!!!!! :thumb::thumb::thumb:

I mount mine inside the seat. It keeps my ass cool on those hot summer days. Leather seats are hard to sit on in the summer.

I don't have a pic from my GSX, but the install was the same as on my Laser. I kept the crash bar and just had to trim the bottom lip completely off. I think it is 31" x 11" x 3" overall size.
The second pic is the back of the FMIC from the engine bay side. You see I fabbed a hood latch support since the stock one had to go.

Wow, I that is a lot of couplers like said. I have a total of 4. Turbo outlet, fmic inlet. Other end of fmic and from piping to tb.

I have that same core. Not bad at all for the price. I know its a tube an fin but good enough for my lil 16g.
