I am wanting to buy a boost gauge, oil pressure gauge and wideband setup. I plan on using the gauge cluster bezel for a 2g and put the boost gauge on the steering column. Not a fan of pillars at all.

All in 52mm and just wondering what the general consensus was on quality. Don't need the cheapest just the most reliable/attractive. I'd prefer something that has blue illumination because I am changing all of the console lighting to blue LEDs to make it more modern.

I've done searches and have an idea of what I want if I could just get feedback in a centralized location it would make the decision process easier for me.

Do you want mechanical or electrical? A lot of people go with Autometer. Wideband go with the Innovate LC-1.

I prefer an electrical read out but I guess it doesn't really matter. I've seen the glowshift on eBay but questioned it's accuracy. Looks great though.

I've heard great things about the innovative. I am going to be ultimately running speed density so that's why I am looking for a wideband setup.

ROFL, if you want to tune your car at all you should have a wideband regardless. Speed density doesn't care if you have a wideband or not as it's all based off of intake temperature and manifold absolute pressure (MAP sensor).

The wideband is for tuning your AFR so you have a true reading.

Glowshift accuracy same as my prosport gauges, owned both no problems both made overseas as well. Both brands are nice. Innovative wideband, i first used autometer hard to see, didnt really like them.

i would deff go with Autometer gauges.there are proven ,good quality, accurate readings. As of te wideband ill def go with AFX one made by KNG. really accurate ,reads faster then aem one .

Yep your going to find lots of use different gauges, pick one and go with it and see how you like it. Thats the only way youll ever know, pick one out there get a Aem wideband, innovative, i got the innovative for features and using with link, plus its blacked out when no power, nice when you dont want to show it off.

My gauges good enough for me but knowing what i know staying of of the crap flining discussion LOL.
Gotta love variety here these threads get really interesting mines better, no mines.

Thanks for showing us in the newbie section how smart you are :thumb:

I had the prosports in my car f'ing hated them, so ugly. So i switched back to the auto meter ultra light 2's. I had them in my old car loved them, i think i can see them better then those fugly prosports. And the prosport gauges are so slow, just another ebay company that got a little bigger imo.

Go with prosport very nice and lots of colors of your choice. Good deal. I have boost and oil pressure gauge.

Autometer seems to be the go to brand.

I like my AEM Gauges, And I dont care if they are around 150$ and up. I ####ing like them. They look damned good.

On my next car I might go with all autometer cobalt series or something like that. I like all the gauges in a given car to match.

I'm a fan of Auto Meter. Using their Phantom series boost, water temp, and oil pressure gauges right now. For the wideband, I'm leaning heavily toward the Innovate LC-1.

I have a glowshift Boost Gauge and am pretty happy with it, it looks great but an better brand is most probably more accurate.

I have always used Autometer and, intend on replacing my boost and egt with Sport Comp 2s.

The new line up of x2 have led back lighting, instead of the indirect incandescent lights. Which light up the gauge a lot better than the older versions.
