Hi I am thinging about getting a datalogger for my 95 gst. Which is the best and easiest to use. And a place where I can get it.

I use a palm m100 with software from ditial tunning. You can pick a used palm m100 for like $30 and the I believe the software is either 125 or 150.

I would have to go with DSMLink. You have a 95 which should have an EEPROM ecu, you have what a lot of 96-99 owners crave to have so they can run DSMLink.

Unlike the normal loggers out there that do 1 frame per sec, this has real time data and a lot more data you can pull, one notable would be knock. And you can adjust timing, a/f, and a bunch of other stuff.

As for the best and easiest to use, I would also have to vote for DSMLink. All you should need is DSMLink (installed on your '95 ECU) and a laptop, and you would be in business. And DSMLink does much more than simply datalogging - it lets you do something with this data, such as making fuel and timing adjustments. If you ever decide to upgrade your injectors, it will make this process painless. As stated by RedTurboEclipse, one logging feature that separates it from most other loggers is its ability to log knock. You can even set up DSMLink to flash your CEL if knock is detected above a threshold that you pre-define. DSMLink also allows you to retrieve engine fault codes, more easily check your base idle speed and timing, eliminate fuel-cut, and many other features.:rocks:

He asked for a logger. So in that category I would recommend pocketlogger if you have the money. If not, just buy the OBDII cable and download palm'n'stein.

If you are interested in a tuning program, then by all means, go with dsmlink.
