Hi everyone!

So some background on my recent activities.
I recently got my engine completely rebuilt on my '91 Galant GTi-16V. New head, new cams and valves, replaced every O-rings and seals, new pistons and rings (bored to 0.5 mm), machined the crank, the block and the head, new clutch disc and plate, injectors serviced, balance shaft delete, new power steering pump, replaced every belt, new water pipe (the 3-way one that goes to the water pump), serviced and cleaned the radiator, new oil and water pump, and A/C system delete. I also installed a digital/analog oil pressure gauge and I'm getting 6.5 to 7 bars at 7000 RPM and 5.5 bars at 3000 RPM while cruising. I'm guessing that's great oil pressure after 2200 km past the rebuild.

I'm looking to get some decent cams for it as I slowly turbo this and fully build it (might even upgrade it to a VR-4 somewhere down the line). I don't want anything too expensive or exotic as the economical situation in here is horrific. I'll be importing them through Turkey.

I know the basics of cams, but as I read more on the threads, I feel like I don't know crap about cams XD

Anyone got any suggestions as to what is the best, cost-effective set of cams for my NT that will be upgraded to the turbo model? I don't have any issues with lopey idle or high fuel consumption as fuel is dirt cheap here (for reference, $0.03 for a liter LOL).

Just wanted to bring up the thread on the list, hoping someone has an answer to my question :(

Also, would I need a tune with new cams for better performance? Because I have the old dual-board 1989 ECU (and yes I have recapped it).
