Dawson Creek,
I read in here somewhere that you can put after market turbo cams into the 92 2.0 Liter N/T engine....is this true? If not what do you guys think I should go with.

I know there is someone out there that can help me.

All this forum seems to know about is exhaust or rice. Don't waste your time. I was just checking to see if anyone had a suggestion for me one last time. Nope course not.

unless if you have a turbo you should only run the OEM turbo intake cam
PS i have one if you want it pm me

Yes you will need some tuning. The problem with the aftermarket turbo cams is that while you do get more lift which is good, you don't get the Duration/Overlap needed to actually take advantage of the full cams. While it will help,it probably wont be worth the cost for the power you will make.search on crower or comps site for complete explanation on this, but basically if you look at the turbo cams, while lift is a plenty durations isn't,while on NA applications duration is longer.I would just get some 93 OEM turbo cams and spend my money elsewhere, but if you wanna get em,go ahead it's your car, have fun tuning.

P.S. can I have some lou mein with thatrice.LOL

I have done some extensive research on intake cams for the n/t's. After looking at all the name brands out there as well as contacting machinists to custom make me one, I decided to just go with the Crower 64415 cam. It has the highest lift that is safe for the factory springs and the longest duration. Plus the price was very resonable compared to what is out there. I called their shop and spoke to Brian their sales person for quite a while and we both agreed this was the closest to what I was looking for. Keeping in mind that I left the exhaust cam stock so it would keep the vacuum up during idle and not run like shit. My motor is built for the high rpms or top end, so this fit my set up...theoretically. I am still in the process of putting the motor back together, and as mentioned... having to tune it.
