BEP .70 T3 Housing - for real this bad?

Just ordered a .70 T3 housing for my HX40 from Bullseye and slapped a T3 gasket just to see how the inlet matches up.

Am I frickin hallucinating, or is this wildly smaller and offset?
I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, but a whole half inch on one side?

I'm not sure if I could portmatch this thing as much as it would need.

Sent them an email to see if this falls within their quality control, really hoping they don't come back telling me 'yes'

I've never had any Bullseye stuff but I'd start by comparing measurements on the 2 items you have there with what Garrett says a T3 turbine inlet flange should measure. I've seen slightly different numbers but only different by about 1mm. Anyway here are the Garrett numbers:

Looks like my measurements come out at 56mmx43mm.
So I guess only about 1mm off from the image you provided.

I'm not worried about out 1mm, that'll buff out..

Maybe my gasket is good for t3/t4 or something. Looked super off to me.

Might lay down some contact paint when I get the manifold to see how much I really need to port.

For what it's worth, I gasket-matched the Bullseye housing on the old HX40 we ran to 9.12 @ 158 and it didn't seem to do much of anything to the trap speed. Could just be how they're cast, but they'll work either way.
