Bent Valves! Damaged pistons???

hey,
i jumped timming acouple weeks ago and tour it apart and fixed the timming. the car didn't run right so i did a compression check and got 0, 65, 85, 110 which is pretty sad surprisingly it ran tho... so i took the head off and took it to get rebiult, all the valves were bent and i can notice that they all hit the pistons.. my pistons have little well not little but gashes in them were the vavles hit.. will this affect the car running wise ? theres no holes or anything, but i don't want to put this head back on and it not run correctly.. thanks Cory

forgot to mention this is a 2.0 turbo

It is normal for the valves to cause small dents in the piston tops. They will cause no running problems and you are OK putting it back together as long as there arent holes in the pistons and/or they didnt get cracked.

When my balance shaft belt snapped and the timing skipped, this was the result:

I just got a used head and put it on, redid all the timing belt stuff, and got a mitsu metal head gasket and ARP head studs.

I would inspect the pistons very carefully for cracks.

thats what mine looks like except every single vavle left a mark just not acouple, so it runs ok ? thanks guys

smooth out any rough edges in the dents so you dont get any hotspots.
