The day i bought my car both belts snapped and caused me to breakdown, i paid the bills to get both new belts now my drive belt is shredding?? It is seperating into two, as if something sliced it. I couldnt find the problem after investigating it. Im getting a UDP soon think that might help?

check and make sure your water pump outer pulley is on the correct way. After I did a water-pump replacement I accidently put the outer pulley on backwards and shreaded a belt before I figured it out.

He is right. That is usually the problem. Make sure the fatter edge faces out. Meaning the fatter edge of the pully faces away from the engine.
