not a supra but a big before and after difference..




redturboeclipse the only reason the stock pics of ur car looks better is because the paint on it is way better than the first one and also the tints. it looks like the car was dirty in the first pics too. if u had kept the car how it was and painted it the color it is now it would have looked way better. and also if u had the black rims with the body kit. back to my point only reason the car looks better now is cause of the paint and rims. removing the body kit had nothing to do with it.

Are you sick?? It wasn't just the removal of a body kit, that is a full 2ga to 2gb conversion. Headlights, front & rear bumpers, and 2gb sides. And yes it was re-painted, but the conversion and the wheels give that car one of the sexiest looks on this forum........Period!

Not too much of a change, since i got it someone did a hit and run with the front of it, scuffed up my hood, chipped the paint off my front bumper... and since i got it i have put on 18's and got the windows tinted. they ####ed up my back window hardcore though.. bubbles all over, light gaps... got the whole thing done for $90 though... and right now i'm working on a custom sub box for it, fiberglass of course I plan on doing the conversion, but leaving the talon rear end on it, but putting on a gsx basket handle spoiler, so it will basically be a 97-99 gsx with talon tails

EDIT: Also, my driverside door handle is broken off, and as for mods i did a custom air box mod, bov dump tube mod, and the bcs restrictor mod

Are you sick?? It wasn't just the removal of a body kit, that is a full 2ga to 2gb conversion. Headlights, front & rear bumpers, and 2gb sides. And yes it was re-painted, but the conversion and the wheels give that car one of the sexiest looks on this forum........Period!

dude wf that was not the point. after the conversion and everything the car would have still looked better if he kept the kit and repainted the color it is now. and if he had thoes black rims with the kit. the car is still hot right now but it would have been better with the kit.

ur the very first with this kind of comment.. im sorry but i hated how the car looked.. no offense to people with bodykits. because there are those who like em and are done nicely for show purposes.. but that is not my style.. not my thing.. and IMO.. which a majority of DSM owners will agree.. that the 97-99 stock eclipse look is one of the best if not the best look for the car.. my style is sleek with some bling.. and my car is an example of that.. paint and rims? its a 95.. my car odnt come lookin like that.. again i hated that bodykit on my car.. sometimes simplicity is key.. if you think the car looks better because of paint and rims.. thats koo.. thats ur opinion.. but in myopinion.. yes it looks better because of my unique choice in rims that no other 2g dsm owner had in which i made look very good.. and the new paint.. but in addition.. the removal of the bodykit.. which i think kills the line of the eclipse..

its surprising aint it how the top viewed and looked upon 2g DSMs on this site have stock 97-99 bodies? coincidence? who knows.. i like to think of it as the majority of people's styles and interest around here.. back to what i said above.. simplicity.. sleek.. and most of the time peeps are just spending money on performance with their TURBO DSMs..

i gather up all the comments about my car through the times after i did the conversion.. its about 1/20 someone surprisingly says the previous look was better.. which i have no problem with.. so on that note..

My car is not finished yet. I'm still busy taking all the dents out of it that the previous owner put in it. My body kit is in the mail and it is all primed and ready to be painted. The wait is too long!!!

Mainly engine work done since I got the car... but I have done a few visual mods

Before shot is with a warped head, bad head gasket, cracked exhaust manifold, 1g pistons and stock everything.

After shot is rebuilt head, 4 layer metal HG, repaired exhaust mani, 2g pistons on 1g rods and fresh mainenance bits (timing belt, waterpump, etc).

Maybe on this board's gallery but your defintely not the only 2g that had those rims.

After I sold the GS I then switched over from the gloss black "XIs" to the "2's" in hyperblack. Now I think im gonna keep the "2's style" but go back to gloss black for my particular car (blue talon w/ gloss black roof). Your car looks many times hotter then mine did though w/ those rims,,like you said its not the particular parts thrown together but how there planned out and coordinated.
RedturboEclipse's car is great becuase it looks like he actually spent some time planning out colors and lines to match his particular car. Any other rim color just wouldn't look near as good.

Holy shit man, that has to be one of the sexiest DSM shots I've seen! I don't know whats better - the HIDs or the GReddy FMIC peeking through! Keep it up man!

And RedturboEclipse, props on your ride too, looks 100x better then before IMO, so clean! And memory-x, love those doors and I think the wing actually suits that car well, most people can't pull it off. Ahh so many sexy cars!!
