Clashing colors. You didn't do a bad job. However, I would have done them both red.

I would have done a colour that compliments the colour

gold and red go together really well ive noticed but painting a whole valve cover gold would be overwhelming.

Deff looks like a good paint job tho!

Looks good to me, I think some contrast is nice. Also, the great thing about this is that the only opinion that matters is your own, if you like it it's a success. BUT, I would just ask what paint you used on the heat shield? That gets fairly hot, and if you used just normal paint or didn't prep the surface well it will start cracking and peeling. I suggest POR-15 for high temp paint, never really had bad luck using that to paint exhaust manifolds, heat shields, O2 housings, etc.

Well either way,it looks nice bro. I would suggest putting your cover back on,I know the cams are cool to show off and all but i would hate to see something get into there and mess something up. But like I said I like the paint. Which guns do you use to spray? I prefer the SATA's over all :thumb:

I'm not trying to be rude but this appearance thread is starting to get cluttered with stuff that doesn't really need to be posted. We all paint or change certain little things on our cars but we don't need to post every little bolt and color changed on or within the car. Keep the useless posts down a bit. I mean yea you did change something and I'm sure it looks better than it did but post all your changes in one thread like "My Car Updates" and make a constant update thread of it almost like a Member Journal or something.

Looks decent, I agree with painting the valve cover a different color but it for sure looks better than before :)

One suggestion- Try getting some new hardware for the heat shield. Nothing better than some nice shiny bolts!
