2G Beefing up suspension

Hello guys I want to do some diy suspension upgrade. Wondering what will be most cost effective front & rear sway bars or front and rear strut bars.

Yeah if you can sand blast everything talkin about control arms and all. I sand blasted mine primed painted then I por 15 the entire bottom of my car firewall back and then under coated over everything my car is like a brand new car on the bottom

Sway bars would definitely be the better upgrade.

Bigger front and rear sway bars are going to be more effective than the strut bars. For a strut bar to be truly effective it needs to tie into the firewall, like the stock bar on the evo VIII/IX and I don't think there is one made for our cars like that.

Definately sway bars. I bought the Suspension Techniques rear bar for my 1g. I don't know how it compares with the RM one, but it was much cheaper and excellent quality.

You will get the most gain out of swaybars, but they will be more expensive (make sure you do the bushings too!)
Rear around 153 everything included (addco)

With strut bars you will see some gain for relatively cheap. (ebay ect) but if you want to do it right I would go with the sway bars.
you can get some cheap rear ones for 50 -80 or some really beefy ones for 100 - 160.

id do the sway bars and definitely the bushings as well a little more money but its well worth it

Thanks. I think i might go with the godspeed sway bars theyre 160 for front and rear shipped on eBay

I submitted a best offer.. we shall see what happens.

The Suspension Techniques I bought a couple of years ago (just the rear) connects with heim joints and has 3 adjustable points.

My memory may be wrong, but I believe I bought them for about $160 and it was from Cardomain.
