So I just got my car back up and running. Weeelll, I've got a strange issue.

I leave my battery connected over night and its completely dead in the morning. No lights, no nothing.

I disconnect my battery over night and reconnect and it starts fine.

I take the car to Advance and have them run a draw check on it, I'm drawing .06 Amps and pass the draw check. When I checked it I left it just as if I would walk inside. No lights, door shut all the way.

WTF is the deal!? How do I track this down if I can't even figure out whats doing it!

Sounds like either a bad battery or you've got something grounded and it's putting a light draw on the battery that's draining it. The best you can really do is check over any recent wiring you've done, check the existing wiring with a multi-meter, and have the battery tested. A battery test is free and easy, so where could you go wrong with that?

Here's the simplest way to fix it. Unhook the negative cable from the battery. Then hook a 12 volt light to the negative post on the battery and the other end to the negative cable itself. If the bult lights, you have a wiring short. You can then go thru the fuse box and start pulling fuses. When the light goes out, you've found the circuit that has the short in it.

In my case, I found out the alternator had an internal short. It wiould charge and all readings were fine.

Good rule of thumb with electrical problems is to check out the last thing you fixed before the problem started.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

I've had the battery tested TWICE and its 100%.
0.06 of a draw was a PASS as far as Advance was concerned. I've undone all the previous wiring i've done.

Pull your alternator off and have it tested. I had two cars at the same time with issues similar to what you are describing and, though I never had amperage draw measured, it was the alternator in each of them. It takes maybe 30 minutes to remove the alternator you can at least check it off the list if that isn't it.
