1G Battery relocation? plus fuel pump rewire?

I was thinking about doing eatsleepdsm's diagram... I'll include a pic.. Because I'm doing a battery switch also (only I'll throw in a few breakers)

But the part that confuses me is, while stock, the alternator fuse wires to the mpi 3 fuse block thing (I think..), and he has it wired in on the other side of the switch out of the distribution block.

Can anyone confirm [spooligan]@EATSLEEPDSMs is a proper way to do it? (While adding circuit breakers for proper safety)

I know the search button has 10,000 pages on the subject...but that's also the problem, there's so much unrelated clutter to sift through before you find an exact answer . Well, if anyone has an opinion let me know. Thanks
