battery not charging after rx7 fuel pump install

could a fuel pump draw all the power to itself
for a start, beside boost creep car was fine(96 talon) so i decided to install the fuel pump(3nd gen rx7 93-95 turbo) flows around 220+/-, after installing it car wouldn't start, jumped it it started fine, drove for an hour, dimming lights, car wanted to stall if i used electric things all at the same time, so i got home turned the car off boom died, no power none whatsoever, jumped it again and it started fine, turned it off, dead on power

well obviously the rex's pump is alot bigger and byt that i mean more flow and what not but n e who.......to make a long screw short.......did you completly run new wires for the pump r your wires big enought to run the juoice the pump is gonna need is it hooked up right?................sounds like a wire is crossed and is causing a bad draw easy way to find out ...............pull out the key pull the fuse for any interior lights and rado and cig lighter..........take off positve terminal touch it slowly and gently to see if you get a spark listen carefully too if soooo thats right were your draw is i betcha
