basethrotltipin questions

hello, currently running ecmlink v3 with SD now ive read there may be lag in the sensor and i understand why. i also read to adjust my basethrotltipin and i did ( alittle) i even went as far as to moving the map sensor like RIGHT on the manifold. so my question is what are you guys running as far as tip in goes? what is too much? i have about one second or more of pure lean before it kicks in. running an s90 throttle body with a block off plate on the bottom.

please excuse the rats nest underneath the manifold i am still trying to get everything running correctly before i clean up the engine bay.

Your map sensor is definatly close enough. I'd imagine with a big throttle body, smim, and nasty cams, you'll need to add quite a bit of "accelerator pump" if you will. Mine always had a bit a bit of a lean pop when I stomped it.

I do think this may be caused by your setup more than SD. Reason I say this is I run SD with no tip in adjustment to the stock value and have very little lean spike when accelerating. Again no to very little adjustment seems to be fine with me but your setup seems that it will like more.
