Just a quick question about it......Is that bolt on the fuel filter as restrictive as it looks??? are there any reasons to upgrade it to 6an fittings??? my goal is no more then 350hp....(small 16g)...should i even worry about it???? Any benefit to do 6an and new line from filter to rail???

I halfway agree. Is it as restrictive as it looks? Yeah, I think so. Is it enough to worry about? Probably not, even though I did get rid of it myself. If you have an upgraded pump and will only run a 16G, you probably don't need to do the -6AN line, but it's pretty simple to replace and helps ensure more fuel flow. See this thread for some links:

Here's more info on a AN-06 fuel system upgrade... Check out the flow number on the before and after. I think that you'll find that the OE fuel system is quite limited for anything larger than 450cc sized injectors, according to the info here:

Read up on it, and make your own decision... I decided to upgrade my fuel system similarly, but instead used Earl's fuel filter & aftermarket AN-06 fuel line adapters. -IMO JB Weld is not for everything (including fuel rails).
When all was said and done, my Talon registered about another .2 volts richer without changing anything else. -I'd say that it works.
