yea no charge! just that the parts are back ordered so i will have to go without my eclipse for another whole week!!!!!

Better than a middle finger and a good day to you sir. Which is pretty much what I got...
I got mine scheduled to be done next week. Hope it goes well. I am expecting the "You gotta take dat talon to da Chrysler dealer" Even though they allready ran my vin and order the parts to fix all my open recalls.
Edit:
To the above. I would have sued the local pd. Especially if you had witnesses.
Thought about it. Called around and got alot of info on how to go about doing it. But never committed to doing it. I was in NY at the time on the way home from the pick-a-part. HATE NY! So, I was just happy to get my car back finally and get the hell outta NY.
You really should. Thats borderline police brutality, but its definetly wrongful seizure of property. As long as it wasn't blocking the traffic. I know in alabama you have 24 hrs after they tag your car with an orange sticker or 48 with a yellow to get it off the shoulder/ditch.
I had the blowout on my celica in 04 while I was on the high way, called triple AAA and they came to fix it and the police pulled up to tag my vehicle when the AAA guy was leaving. I ended up chatting with the officer about how his brother had one just like it in high school.
