hey im going to install a bb pte turbo...its the 3431 RLE Dual Ball Bearing Turbo.... what i need to know is do i need to add a restrictor? i have the ss line for a scm5031e so do i need a restrictor? if so what size? or is it only for the gt series turbos?

http://www.slowboyracing.com/shop.php?sid=&cat=1291 half way down SBR Restrictor Fitting For GT Turbos

thanks alot

Am assuming this is the pte bb 57trim right? Anyway all pte bb turbos come with a oil restrictor on the turbo so all you have to do is attach the oil feed line. Make sure it comes from the oil filter housing as taken it from the head will void the warranty according to pte.

That is only if you want to take it from the head otherwise theres no need for it when taking it from the oil filter housing.

Hm well okay, I shouldn't have said that it's required, butit is highly recommended that you do use a micron filter in the feed line, as even the slightest dirt could mess your BB turbo up. I'd do it just to be safe, if no other reason.
