so just recently i started hearing a bad noise coming from my front passenger tire. it gets louder as i start driving faster and could almost call it a humming noise and when i take a hard right turn while going fast (so most the weight is transferred to the driver side wheel) the noise goes away.....the tire had some wiggle to it and the tie rod was shot and so was a the compression lower control arm. I replaced the tie rod and have been waitin on the control arm. benson's autoparts has ####ed up the order on the control arm twice now...so have to order the part for the 3rd time now...

any suggestions as to what might be causing this vibration?

Your wheel bearing is going to hell. Its what keeps your wheel attached to the vehicle itself.

that's what i was guessing....only reason i was doubting it was because when i jacked it up, and grabbed onto the tire and tried to pull the tire in and out, there was no movement at all....now i didn't get an alignment yet just becasue new wheels are goin on soon so didn't want to waste my money....and i know the one control arm is completely shot. if the car is on the ground, I can roll the tire forward like an inch and it makes this "ca-clunk" noise. so i didn't know if either the tie rod or control arm could be the culprit.

Yeah definetly your wheel bearing. When you drive you'll start hearing a scraping noise coming from the wheel area and your lug nuts will start coming loose by themself. Eventually your wheel will fall of if you keep driving it.

so spent an hour tryin to get the axel nut off so i can replace the wheel bearing/hub and broke a breaker bar in the process.....what a POS...

so finally got it swapped out for a new hub/wheel bearing...ended up having to pull the whole axle out and taking it to a press. a 12 ton press barely got it out....
