Resolved bad starter? no crank

I recently replaced clutch pedal assbly/master/slave/lines, put everything back together and went to start the car. it slowly cranked a few times then stopped trying to turn over. The electronics all work but when i turn to key to start they dim out. Also when i turn the key it clicks. Car has a new battery.. Just checking if im looking at a bad starter or ###?? thanks in advance

Make sure the battery is 100%. Then check the cable down to the starter to make sure it doesn't have any corrosion and is installed correctly and tight. If those things are ok then the starter is going out. Have someone turn the key while you give it a couple good blows with a hammer to try and "dislodge" it. In most cases it will start right up.

Thanks for the help.. It was a toast battery and bad connections that i didn't double check.. Tightened everything up and started right up haha
