bad shake on highway

Okay I have read, and don't really know where to go from here.
I just got new tires, I just installed new struts. Just installed
Both front wheel bearings and ball joints. Than today just
Got an alignment. Still after that my car shakes pretty bad.
Mainly on the highway, but also on roads going over 45 but not
As bad. I work at sears auto center and keep a sharp eye
On tire pressure also. Any ideas? And on a gvr-4 how do you
Adjust front camber? Thanks!

Bent wheel, out of balance wheel, separated/bulged tire?

How do your motor mounts look? Loose or damaged mounts will cause this. Also, have you bottomed out lately? Your driveshaft could be off balance.

Get your tires re balanced with a road force balancer if possible.

I check if my drive shaft is out of balance?

Your drive shaft doesn't just go out of balance unless it got bent. You might want to check the carrier bearings/bushings on the drive shaft. If you can put the car on the lift and check to see how lose are the bushings on the drive shaft, it should be fairly snug. If it seems lose or the drive shaft looks like its slightly sagging in the bushings that could cause the problem. 1G cars are known to have this problem so its possible you may have the same situation on the vr4.

Maybe a bad ball joint is showing its ugly face.

I've seen new tires that one could be so much physically out of round. Get all four corners off the ground and in neutral, roll each tire to check for roundness (might be tough to do with AWD when the coupler engages...)

He said he replaced ball joints. DSMs don't have camber adjustment without a camber kit.

Do you have any bent wheel lips? 3 of my wheels have slight bends on the inner lip. Due to this, I had to rebalance the wheels twice when I put on new tires. Also, if your drive shaft has balance weights, which it should, one could have fallen off. I really don't think a bad engine mount would lead to excessive shaking. Some yes, but not severe. All 4 of my mouth ts were bad when I bought my spyder and only had issues from it when braking.

^+1. Yes a wheel can balance but still be out of round or bent. Check as DSM1G90 says.

Mine did the same, more so on inclines. Would sometimes shake really bad, then after a couple minutes, it would stop.

For me it was the carrier bearings. Easy to check them, a pain to replace them though.

Id make sure all your nuts and bolts are tight also. I had a tranny mount cause a bad vibration at highway speeds from the nuts not being tight it was so bad it actually broke one of the studs off. Check all your bushings. And did you use a road force balancer? Like said above tires can balance and still be be out of round. Road force will check for out of round and it can check runout of your rim. You would have to send the driveshaft out or swap in a different one to rule it out.
