bad noise, good outcome wow.

Here I am downtown and goin up the bridge, i switch from 2nd to 3rd and i hear a clunk or pop noise as i shifted, i dont think i got it quite into gear or somethin? and then im like oh man oh man my tranny better not of blown, then i stop just conitnute driving, and do some stop and go starts and now my shifter is like a little looser now and sooooo much easier to shift, i love it, but i knew something gave way there, was it a bolt supporting the shifter or somethin? the dude before i bought it said he had to put some bolts back in or something but now its like easier to move from side to side and into gear and outta gear, i can switch much faster

Any ideas?

nope, but im newer at driving standard so maybe i just didnt have the clutch fully engaged or somethin , i dunno , nothing is wrong tho:S

k it musta been jsut a one time thing cause i just went for a 30 min drive just listening for stuff and nothing is different, its weird, even the shifter is fine, i think i was on drugs or somethin ..

I mean ive always had a grind in 3rd, real low in the rpms and switching into third theres a little clunk in the rear tranfercase but it seems a-ok,

on another note when i was pulling out of my driveway i was in 3rd instead of first and it was like bogging and goin nuts and i was like crying cause i thought it was first and it was my tranny screwed up stupid me
