Hey everyone, I know that there are many posts about lifter tick and I read through a good number of them but I still haven't found anything simliar to what I have. When the car is under just a little bit of load or I try to step on it a little bit, I get a very loud ticking noise and as the rpms go up, the ticking gets faster and louder.

Thanks

Didnt know I could do that in a Auto... If I did spin a rod, how much is it to fix and how bad is it? Should it be driven?

The weird thing is, that under when its not under a load or the tranny is in park or netural, it doesnt make the sound, only when the car is under a load.

Spun rod bearing has nothing to do with the tranny, and if that is the problem its going to go regardless (the engine)..:( There is plenty to read up on here about it. Good luck.

PS. If all else fails do an oil change and drop your oil pan. You will know for sure then because it will have metal flakes in it.
